Minnesota Governor Honors the SEE Program
February 2008 – SEE received the 2007 Minnesota Governor’s Award for Excellence in Waste and Pollution Prevention Award on February 27. Awarded by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, this honor serves to recognize organizations that focus on preserving the environment through innovative practices that prevent pollution and waste, improve resource efficiency, and lead to sustainability.

MEEA Recognizes the SEE Program
January 2008 – The Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA) is a collaborative network that advances energy efficiency in the Midwest to support sustainable economic development and environmental preservation. The MEEA recently awarded the SEE program the 2008 Inspiring Efficiency Education Award for its outstanding results in their local campaign to increase schools’ knowledge and action on energy efficiency.

Energy Star Partner of the Year
March 2007 – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named the Schools for Energy Efficiency (SEE) Program from Hallberg Engineering, Inc. as a 2007 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year (Service and Product Provider Category) for outstanding energy management and reductions in greenhouse gas emissions through their work with school districts. SEE’s accomplishments were recognized at an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. on March 21, 2007.

ACEC Tom Roche Award
2006 - Joe Hallberg received the Tom Roche Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies – Minnesota (ACEC/MN). The Tom Roche award is bestowed annually to an individual who has contributed a great deal over the course of their career to the profession of consulting engineering, ACEC/MN, and the community.

ACEC/MN Engineering Excellence Award
2003 - Hallberg Engineering, Inc. receives an ACEC/MN Engineering Excellence Award. The American Council of Consulting Engineers of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) announced that Hallberg Engineering was selected for a Grand Award in the 2003 Engineering Excellence Awards Competition for the District Cooling Chiller Plant.
