HEI utilizes energy analysis software to perform an overall energy model of the designed building identifying cost–effective measures for heating, cooling, ventilating, water usage and other energy flows. The software also identifies the most energy–saving measures for buildings and calculates energy performance and life–cycle cost of operation. For more detailed information, CLICK HERE.
HEI can assist owners with studies that investigate and analyze alternatives to current mechanical, electrical equipment energy usage in their buildings. These studies summarize each energy conservation opportunity identified for capital costs, incentives and energy use reduction. These studies typically include a detailed list of energy equipment flow diagrams, current energy estimates and new energy usage estimates, implementation costs and paybacks, description of energy efficiency improvements for the proposed modifications and a verification plan of new operational energy usage.
