WHITE BEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL
ISD 624 White Bear Lake Area Schools
WHITE BEAR LAKE HIGH SCHOOL has been split in two for many, many years. Students in 9th and 10th grade attended one school while the 11th and 12th graders were at a different school. This was supposed to be temporary but became the permanent setup. When the White Bear Lake Area Schools' 2019 "Building our Future" referendum passed, the dream of combining the two schools became a reality.
The "North Campus" building is undergoing a 285,000 sq ft renovation and 375,000 sq ft addition. This will create learning studios for a new way of learning beyond the typical classroom. This will also add hands-on labs for students to learn jobs in the trades, including a garage to work on cars, a welding studio, and a woodshop.
Along with the other projects that came from the "Building our Future Referendum", HEI is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for the high school. HEI worked very closely with Wold A/E on this project.
