HENNEPIN CTY. CENTRAL LIBRARY

THE MINNEAPOLIS CENTRAL LIBRARY was originally built in 1889 until a new facility was built in 1961. Today stands a modern, unique architectural feat finished in 2006 that houses the largest collection in the Hennepin County library system.

Hallberg Engineering was hired to perform engineering services to investigate and improve the Direct Digital controls systems at the library which is situated right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. We provided mechanical design, site verification, construction documents, construction administration and commissioning for this project.
