NORTH VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL

NORTHVIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL involved a comprehensive transformation of the school's second-floor classrooms, media center, and former pool area, aimed at creating modern, functional, and engaging spaces for students and staff. The scope of work included the complete remodeling of classrooms, upgrades to essential infrastructure, the renovation of the media center, and the conversion of the existing pool into a new multipurpose activity room.

Classroom Remodeling: The second-floor classrooms were entirely redesigned to meet the demands of contemporary education. This included the installation of new, energy-efficient lighting, as well as upgraded power and data infrastructure to support modern teaching tools, interactive technology, and digital learning devices. The classrooms were outfitted with new HVAC systems to enhance comfort year-round, while plumbing systems were upgraded to meet the needs of students and faculty. The revamped spaces provide a bright, flexible, and technologically advanced environment that promotes collaboration and innovation.

Media Center Revitalization: The media center underwent a full renovation, turning it into a dynamic hub for student collaboration, presentations, and multimedia learning. The new design incorporates decorative lighting elements that enhance the ambiance and functionality of the space. A state-of-the-art sound system was installed to facilitate group presentations, allowing for high-quality audio for both educational sessions and school events. The space was designed to be both versatile and visually engaging, promoting creativity and learning in a collaborative setting.

Multipurpose Room Conversion (Former Pool Area): The existing pool was infilled and transformed into a new multipurpose activity room designed to support a variety of school activities. The project included removal of outdated pool systems and the addition of a new indoor air handling unit, with heating and cooling integrated into the building's existing systems. Electrical upgrades included new lighting, controls, power distribution, and integration with existing building systems such as fire alarm, paging, and technology.
