KYLE SIMONSON is a Hallberg Engineering original. He joined Hallberg in Fall of 1988 straight from college where he studied computer science and mathematics. When Kyle started with us, he had no knowledge of HVAC or what an HVAC system even was.
Throughout the years, Kyle had mentors who helped him to obtain knowledge of systems and give him the ability to work with others in the industry. This helped him be able to address and solve problems, along with design of systems and the ability to put together comprehensive documents.
BEYOND being a mentor to all at Hallberg Engineering, Kyle works with staff to work through design questions and assist with things that may come up during the design process like planning and budgeting.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE...
Kyle currently manages grain production on his family farm in Iowa raising corn and soybeans. He loves to keep up on modern farming practices and listening to 70s, 80s, and 90s rock music.

You can find Kyle collecting and working on vintage International Harvester tractors and old Ford pickup trucks.
