Nick Cierzan, CxA

NICK CIERZAN joined Hallberg Engineering in Fall of 2015 as a Commissioning Agent. Nick attended St. Cloud State where he earned his degree in Computer Networking Application with focuses in statistics and network management. Prior to joining Hallberg, Nick was in the temperature controls field for 8+ years, programming and eventually managing temperature controls projects from inception.

BEYOND managing Hallberg’s Commissioning Department, Nick is an active participant in the AABC Cx Group which is one of the governing bodies of the commissioning industry. Nick has been a part of the Central Chapter group that meets once a month to discuss various commissioning topics and industry practices. 

Additionally, Nick has over 6 years of experience administering MN B3 Guidelines and has a hand in over 20 state-funded projects that recognize commissioning initiatives that contribute to sustainable building goals.  Nick assists team members, contributes to project proposals and other project needs.

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE...

Nick, his wife Laura, and two kids, Sam and Ava, live in Forest Lake with their needy but cuddly labradoodle, Roscoe. You find this crew at hockey and baseball games, hanging with friends, or enjoying family game night. ​Nick has coached just about every sport for his kids, and if he's not being coach, he's being the best fan in the bleachers.

WHEN THE MINNESOTA SNOW MELTS AWAY...

Nick enjoys being on the golf course with family and friends. You can also find him biking around various MN river valleys or local bike trails.
