MICHAEL BLEEKER joined Hallberg Engineering's mechanical engineering team in Summer of 2008. Mike grew up in Iowa and joined Hallberg Engineering right after graduating from Iowa State University. During his time at ISU, he was interested in studying energy efficiency and realized HVAC design allowed him to take that knowledge and utilize it in real-world applications.
BEYOND being a mentor for Hallberg’s young engineers, Mike works on the design of HVAC and plumbing systems. This includes HVAC load calculations and building energy modeling along with the preparation of the associated construction plans and specifications.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE...
Bleeker enjoys watching most sports, especially Iowa State football and basketball, as well as Minnesota Twins baseball. You can also find Mike unwinding with a crossword puzzle or historical non-fiction book.
