Michael Temme, PE

MIKE TEMME joined Hallberg Engineering in Fall of 2018 as a mechanical engineer. Mike grew up in the country outside of the small town of Windom, MN.  As a kid, he always liked to take apart, fix, and figure out how things work so when deciding what to study in college, mechanical engineering was a natural fit. In college, Mike’s favorite classes and professors were in the HVAC design field which pushed him into the mechanical design field.

BEYOND being a mentor for Hallberg’s young engineers, Mike designs HVAC and plumbing systems as the lead engineer on projects, which includes assigning tasks to other team members and reviewing designs. His experience in commissioning and energy performance optimization projects help him to understand multiple sides of the design and construction process. This extensive experience helps Mike streamline and improve how he approaches projects.

Many of Mike’s projects are in the fields of K-12 schools, government buildings, higher education, transportation, and data facilities. 

OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE...

Mike enjoys spending time with his son and their 2 dogs. You can find them at the zoo, aquarium, playground, going to the movies, and visiting family, anything to spend time with his boy!

WHEN THE MINNESOTA SNOW MELTS AWAY...

You can find Mike cooking some awesome barbeque in his smoker, going fishing or hiking with his son, or taking walks with the dogs.
