TERRY OLSON joined Hallberg Engineering in Winter of 2018 as a Commissioning Technician. Before Hallberg, Terry was a project manager, HVAC technician, and boiler operator for 34 years at Columbia Heights Schools. He had worked with HEI CEO Rick Lucio throughout the years when Rick was a commissioning agent, sparking Terry's interest in trying something new.
Terry's extensive background and experience in the schools helps him to see issues from the building owners' perspective and gives him an extra eye on what owners' HVAC needs are.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE...
Terry is a 22-year certified USA Hockey official and has officiated over 6,000 games in his career. He also has coached girls' fastpitch softball for many years and was lucky enough to coach with his daughter as varsity head coach these past five years.
He and his wife Kelly love to visit local breweries. They also bounce around their favorite music venues to discover new music while supporting their local favorites like Dessa, The New Standards, Lamont Cranston, Abby Wolf, and Lucy Michelle.
WHEN THE MINNESOTA SNOW MELTS AWAY...
You can find Terry and his golf clubs on just about any golf course throughout the state. If there is a work trip to be made, his clubs are always in the trunk as there is always a new course to play and new friends to be made.
